Provides comprehensive recreation programs through 23 senior centers. Learning centers provide special classes such as hula, ukulele, dancing and karaoke. Organized sports leagues offer badminton, swimming, softball, bowling, tennis, gateball and golf. Coordinates Kupuna Hula Festival, Hamakua Festival and sports tournaments.
