Eligibility

Persons meeting the following may be eligible: -Must be employed full-time (at least 32hr/week; within the past 3 months) or enrolled in an institution of higher learning full-time, or employed half-time (up to 20 hrs/week) AND in school-half time -Must have experienced a significant and unexpected setback or trauma such as (but not limited to) death of a family member, serious illness that affected household income, domestic violence, victim of crime, aging out of foster care, etc. -Preference is given to individuals who are not receiving public assistance (welfare/TANF)

(MEM) Making Ends Meet provides emergency financial assistance for individuals who experienced an unexpected life event that resulted in a financial setback. Assistance for essential needs such as rent, utilities, transportation, etc. up to about $500. No general financial assistance. No long-term financial support available. Assistance is a one time, not ongoing assistance. All services are conducted electronically or via USPS
