Eligibility
Persons with a referral from a hospital social worker or child life specialist may be eligible. Persons must meet HUGS requirements and application process.

Application process
Written Application Referral accepted from hospital social worker, child life specialist, or self-referral. Doctor's forms must be completed by physicians and enrollment into HUGS completed. Forms available online. Call for more information.

HUGS visits children with a life-threatening illness and their families while hospitalized for treatment. Interactive play with hospitalized child and/or siblings to relieve stress of hospitalization.
