Description
The Hale Ola Transition House provides transitional housing for survivors and their children for a period of 6-24 months while they work to become financially independent and stable. Hale Ola has five separate living areas and can house two to 10 survivors and their children at a time (12 beds). The configuration of Hale Ola provides flexibility in providing housing to families with more than four children and/or families with multiple children under the age of five who are currently under served on Oahu. Hale Ola provides survivors and their children a safe, comfortable home with transitional case management provided by shelter advocates so that survivors can receive the assistance they need to find more permanent housing and financial resources. Shelter Advocates provide voluntary comprehensive support services to survivors, including housing education, childcare support and referral, and employment counseling. Confidential Location
