Eligibility

A veteran family, defined as a single person or a family. Veteran must either be the head of household or the spouse of the head of household. Veteran's household income must not exceed 80% of the area median income. Veteran family must either be homeless and prepared to move into permanent housing within 90 days or at risk of losing current permanent housing.

(SSVF) Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) provides outreach and case management service to improve housing stability by providing supportive services to eligible Veteran families residing in or transitioning to permanent housing. Supportive Services include housing search assistance, landlord mediation, and temporary financial assistance. SSVF also provides information and referrals to assist participants with obtaining VA benefits and other public benefits, which may include health care services, personal financial planning services, and legal services.
