(KIPC, Car Seat and Booster Seat Safety, CPS) Keiki Injury Prevention Coalition (KIPC) provides a network of Car Seat Inspection Stations, technicians, and instructors certified in caregiver education on correct child restraint use and installation. KIPC provides appointments at Inspection Stations and conducts car seat checks at community events on Oahu. KIPC also provides standardized certification training for new technicians, and updates for those currently certified.

Provides part-time volunteer work with stipend for low income senior citizens to work with special or exceptional needs persons at institutions, schools, day care centers, etc. Duties may involve reading, literacy activities, tutoring. Volunteers receive a stipend.

(Women Infants and Children Nutrition Program) The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC), is a federally funded program which provides Hawaii residents with nourishing supplemental foods, nutrition education, breastfeeding promotion and health and social service referrals. The participants of WIC are either pregnant, breastfeeding, or postpartum women, and infants and children under age five who meet income guidelines and have a medical or nutritional risk. Nutrition and Health Education: WIC will answer your questions about what to eat for a healthy pregnancy and help you plan family meals and snacks. Education and support for moms who breastfeed: WIC has specially trained staff to answer your breastfeeding questions. Ask for more information about our breast pump loan program. UCPA's Early Intervention Services is sponsored by the State of Hawaii's Department of Health - Early Intervention Section. The program provides services to children between the ages of birth to three years of age with developmental delays. Services are provided in each child's natural environment (e.g., home) with the goal of educating, enhancing and coaching parents and caregivers to support development within the context of the child's daily routines and activities.

(DVSF) The Domestic Violence Services for Families program provides counseling services for offenders, survivors and their children who have been referred by DHS programs. Services are provided primarily through group and individual counseling. Serves the Windward and Central area of Oahu. Groups area available after hours in the evening.

Provides health care services and other supportive health promotion and assistance. Assists with the Hawaii Health Connector for health insurance.

(Orchestral Music Education for Youth, HYSA) The Hawaii Youth Symphony advances critical and positive links between music study, academic achievement, and social emotional development with programs that service youth through orchestral music education, performance opportunities, and community engagement. HYS envisions a Hawaii where every young person can experience the timeless value of music, learn to play a musical instrument, or otherwise embrace a lifelong appreciation for musical learning. During the academic year, HYS operates three full-symphonic orchestras and four string orchestras, instructing students who range in ability from absolute beginners to very experienced. Education and performance are key elements of the HYS curriculum. During the summer months, HYS conducts two outreach programs: Summer Strings geared toward elementary school children; and the Pacific Music Institute (PMI), a music immersion program for middle and high school students from all islands of Hawaii, the mainland and the Asia/Pacific region. Provides visitor services at Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve. Also provides free marine education programs for groups visiting the Bay. Offers free event (alternating film and lecture series focused on marine issues of interest to the community) every Thursday evening at Hanauma Bay.

Imua Autism Services works with children up to 6 years old using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). ABA is an evidence-based, therapy that focuses on improving social skills, communication and human behavior and is an effective method to help children with autism and other developmental disabilities learn the skills they need to move forward. Imua Family Services understand that each child learns differently. Our goal is to provide an interactive, fun, play-based learning program. We take a collaborative approach incorporating family members and caregivers to develop a comprehensive plan. We work to personalize educational programs for both the child and parents using interviews, observations and natural environment assessments. Imua Family Services also provides ABA services through our Therapeutic Preschool and Kindergarten Readiness Program.

(MIECHV) Partnering with ‘Ohana from pregnancy until kindergarten. ‘Ohana receive weekly home visits where they have the opportunity to grow in positive parenting practices, learn about their child’s development, and build a loving relationship between parent and child. Our Parent Educators provide the Parents as Teachers (PAT) and Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters (HIPPY) programs as a part of the your ‘Ohana Network of the state of Hawai’i. (Wai'alae Dental Care) Waialae Dental Care is offering emergency dental care. What qualifies as an emergency?

• Pain that is not managed by over-the-counter pain medication.
• Uncontrolled bleeding in the mouth.
• Broken or knocked-out tooth.
• Dry socket or other result of a recent surgery, including stitches that need to be removed.
• Pain from a dental appliance that needs fitting or trimming.

(Womens Health) Provides women's health care services including annual well-woman exams, pap smears, clinical breast exams, birth control and contraception. Diagnoses and treats minor gynecological concerns and sexually transmitted infections. Provides pregnancy testing, pregnancy and postpartum care, breastfeeding and lactation consulting. Teen counseling and education is available. Offers perimenopausal and menopausal support.

Provides taxicab transportation including wheelchair accessible taxi transportation. All fares are determined by metered rates as dictated by the City & County of Honolulu. Program will be expanded to include special programs for senior citizens.

Offers three "Learn to Swim" programs a year (Red Cross approved). Registration before program begins. Summer program starts around June, Fall program starts around September, Spring program starts around January. Also open to public for free swimming.

(TANF, TAONF) The federal Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) Program provides temporary cash assistance to eligible families. The monthly cash assistance given to families may be used to pay for food, clothing, housing and utility expenses, and other daily needs. Eligible families include at least one specified relative adult and a minor dependent child who resides in the same home. In addition, family members must be US citizens. The State of Hawaii Temporary Assistance for Other Needy Families (TAONF) Program provides the same benefits and services to Hawaii’s vulnerable families with children as the TANF program. The TAONF program eligibility includes mixed citizens and non-citizens, and single- and two-parent households.
