(Aloha Diaper Pantry) The Aloha Diaper Bank supports newborns up to 3 years old who are facing poverty or family crises due to job loss or personal circumstances. Working in collaboration with various local agencies that serve low-income, homeless, and families in crisis, we provide essential diapers and wipes. Families are encouraged to register with one of the partner agencies to receive ongoing support and access other valuable services during challenging times. Additionally, the Aloha Diaper Bank offers a one-time emergency assistance package, including 75 diapers and 2 packs of baby wipes, to address immediate needs. If you are an individual in need of diapers, our partner agency Keiki O Ka Aina can help to sign you up to receive diapers and provide you guidance with parenting services and classes. Provides a comprehensive recreational program in the community. Facilities include a multi-purpose building and a field. There are three program periods throughout the year: fall, spring and summer. Activities are geared for all ages, including classes in arts and crafts, Hawaiiana, games and sports, music, seasonal activities and crafts, and excursions. A list of activities, registration dates, and program period information is published in the Midweek prior to registration.

Offers weekly individual or group counseling focused on teaching independent living skills for youth aged 12 to 25. Maintains a training apartments from young men aged 17.5 to 19 who are in transition from foster care, group homes, shelters or institutions and also a home for young women transitioning out of foster care to independent living (training apartment participants are expected to have jobs and pay for rent and food). Also a home for pregnant and parenting teens.

(Easter Seals Kailua Early Intervention Program, Kailua Early Intervention Program) Easterseals Hawaii provides individualized early intervention services to children under 3 with or at risk for developmental delays and their families. Services include: Development of an Individualized Family Support Plan (IFSP); Parent coaching and family support; Developmental evaluations; Resources, information, and referral services; Assistance to families in transition planning for their child’s transition into the Department of Education special education, Head Start or preschool. Treatment Focus Areas: Cognitive; Language and Communication; Physical; Development; Social and Emotional; Adaptive/Self Care. Program focuses on building a support team for the family and assisting them in meeting challenges via parent coaching and building a foundation of tools and strategies that parents need to support their child’s growth and participation in their community.

Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) Hawaii provides: Free and confidential support services to injured victims and to families and close friends of those who have been killed, Range of free brochures, books on grief, and other literature, Court accompaniment and criminal justice system navigation, An annual candlelight vigil of hope and remembrance held during the holiday season, The possibility of serving on a “Victim Impact Panel” where victims share their stories with people who have been arrested for DUI. MADD Hawaii works closely with the Victim Witness Assistance Division of the Prosecutor's office, with youth programs and young teens in the prevention of underage drinking. Call for support groups for victims of impaired driving and homicide.

Provides information on Advance Care Planning to help people who may be facing serious illness and their loved ones prepare for decisions they may need to make as a person's illness progresses. Provides information on advance directives and is Hawaii's clearing house for POLST (Providers Orders for Life Sustaining Treatment)a portable medical order for people with advance illness. Provides professional and public education, advocacy and public policy, referrals and resources on palliative and hospice care, and leadership for statewide palliative and end-of-life care initiatives. The "Let's Talk Story" Program will go to community groups, churches and temples and provide free training.

Provides a social and leisure club for teens and adults. Offers leisure education, leadership development, excursions, and service projects.

Youth identified as requiring intensive mental health services may be enrolled with the Department of Health (DOH) Family Guidance Center (FGC) located in the school district of their home school. They are assigned an FGC Mental Health Care Coordinator (MHCC) at that time. The youth may, and often will, continue to receive School-Based Behavioral Health (SBBH) services and supports from the Department of Education (DOE) in conjunction with the intensive mental health services.

(Nanas House Family Centers - Waimea, Neighborhood Places of Kauai) In partnership with a community Ohana Board and other community agencies, provides family support and family preservation services to the families in defined areas of Kauai. Incorporating a community family center model, we provide a healing and nurturing environment in which intervention services are interwoven with prevention activities. Services include information and referral, emergency food pantry, emergency clothes closet, parent skills classes, youth development programs, individual support for expecting and new parents, assistance with food stamp applications, job information services, outreach activities to engage hard to reach families, individual and family counseling, tobacco treatment and community activities and cultural awareness activities.

Provides pre-hospital emergency medical and ambulance services at the Advanced Life Support Level to all residents and visitors on Lanai. Transports patient to airport when needed for air ambulance transfers. Offers classes in CPR, First Aid, and First Responder.

(ATV, YWCA of Kauai Alternatives to Violence) Provides psycho-education and support designed to interrupt the cycle of violence. Assists clients with anger management. Encourages, teaches and advocates non-violent behaviors. Available as a resource in the community for speakers and presentations.

Early Intervention Services are for children from birth to age three who have developmental concerns and focuses on improving the physical, cognitive, communicative, adaptive, social and emotional development of the child. As parents are the child’s first teachers, services are provided through one primary early intervention professional using parent coaching strategies. In addition, the program helps families by providing information, demonstrations and support to caregivers that helps them better understand their children’s developmental needs and how to meet them. Care coordination is available to help families utilize resources at home and in the community. Support Plans are developed in partnership with the family and service team that build on strengths and priorities of the family. (Health and Fitness Classes) We provide day camps, Girls in Sports, winter camp, open gym for basketball and volleyball, swim classes for youth and adults, cultural activities, recreational activities, host special events and family camping.

Provides transportation assistance for patients with cancer. Road to Recovery program - volunteers drive patients to doctor appointments and medical treatments. Bus Passes and Handi-Van Coupons - availability is limited to those in active treatment. Taxicab - limited trips for those that are unable to access volunteers, bus or handi-van. Air Fare interisland and mainland - for patients not covered by other insurance coverage. Reduced rate lodging - at hotels in Hawaii for patients who must travel for treatment. Hope lodge - free overnight housing for patients traveling to the mainland for treatment.

Provides a variety of social, recreational and educational programs for all age groups, children to seniors that includes social recreational, physical activities, after school drop-in programs, performing arts, behavioral management, sports and educational program that includes positive youth development. Summer program includes the Summer Enrichment Program.

HomeAid's Kauhale Management Division provides secure, shared housing at Kipuola Kauahale, light case management, job readiness support, and opportunities for education and community engagement primarily for single individuals.  Additional support for mental health resources and counseling referrals, transportation assistance for work or school, and health and wellness programs for residents may be available. Residents have their own "sleeping pod" but share communal space (toilet, shower, kitchen, computer lab, public areas, etc.).  Residents are required to attend weekly or monthly community meetings, help with shared chores to maintain the common areas, follow site policies for safety, treat others with kindness and respect, and stay engaged with job training, education, or personal development activities.

(MEO) Provides up to 6 months of case management that includes developing an individual service plan, budget preparation, assistance with job retention and job skill development, and other counseling. In addition to case management clients may receive up to a maximum of $3500 in rental assistance. This is structured for a six month period with the first month's rental not to exceed $1200.

Meals provided Saint Elizabeth Church on Wednesday and Thursday. Clothing, some personal care items, and counseling may be available on Thursday.

(Hui Malama Ola Na Oiwi) We provide disease prevention and health promotion services through advocacy, accessibility, and education. We offer Case Management Services (such as home visits to conduct blood pressure checks, glucose checks, assistance with applications for medical insurance), and referrals to other health-related agencies. We also provide Health Education (Diabetes, Hypertension, Nutrition, and Tobacco Cessation), Traditional Healing Workshops and Classes, as well as one-to-one services by referral. Specialty Transportation provided to medical-related appointments (based on needs and availability)- for individuals restricted to a wheelchair or gurney.

(Food Pantry) Calvary Chapel South Maui provides a food pantry for those in need. Food pantry is at Suite 420. Calvary Chapel South Maui also accepts food donations. Produce and protein greatly needed. The pantry is closed on federal and major holidays. December 25, 2025 - January 4, 2026 Closed
