(Crisis Mobile Outreach) Professional counselors on call to help youth who are in psychiatric crisis or to supplement the efforts of their caregivers. Counselors can refer clients to specialized, short-term, out-of-home placement when needed. Provides face to face assessment of a crisis situation and arrange appropriate course of action for adolescents.

(WUCC Food Pantry, WUCC) Central Union Church Windward Food Distribution Program provides non-perishable food and prepackaged bags of food (protein, fruit, starch, vegetables). The church is committed to providing this outreach to the community and everyone who has a need for food is welcome. Please bring your own bag for food pick up. Central Union Church Windward is a Hawaii Food Bank Agency authorized to receive FDA products, therefore our program is required to have our clients sign a form confirming the need and number of individuals in the household. There is no religious affiliation required. CUCW Food Pantry plans to be open the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years 2025. Please call to verify. (LITFP SSI) The City and County of Honolulu Department of Community Services' Low Income Transit Fare Program (LITFP) provides a discounted transit fare for income qualifying individuals. For persons receiving Supplemental Security Income (SSI) no application necessary. Bring the following documents to the Transit Pass Office at the Kalihi Transit Center: -Supplemental Security Income Benefit Verification Letter from the Social Security Administration. -Official, valid photo identification (ID) such as a Passport, Driver's License, Driver's Permit, State ID, Birth Certificate for individuals 17 years of age or younger.

Transitional Family Care for youth 5 - 17 years of age with emotional and/or behavioral disturbances, Hale Kipa's Therapeutic Foster Care Program provides community-based services within a family home setting. The 3-9 month program is often a "step-down" from hospitalization or a residential setting and can be helpful in transitioning youth from a higher level of care to successful integration into the community.

HawaiiKidsCAN and Air Tutors team up to bring students to grade level and beyond. The collaboration ensures that students in Hawaii are matched to an expert educator that will focus on advancing their skill sets and growing them as individuals. Kids 5 years old - 13 years old (Grade K-8th) can receive tutoring in Math and English. Kids 14 years old - 18 years old (Grade 9th-12th) can receive tutoring in Math and English. Access to the internet and a computer or some other device are required to attend the online tutoring sessions. Math sessions are on Monday and Wednesday. English sessions on Tuesday and Thursday. This is a free program as scholarships are being provided for the Spring 2024 session. Hawaii Tutoring has rebranded as Hawaii Tutoring+, as we now are planning to offer digital literacy support for members of the whole family, including parents and kupuna.

(SASS, Empowering Alternatives Program, EAP, Sexual Assault Response and Advocacy Services, SARAH) Operates a 24-hour crisis hotline for persons affected by a sex assault, including women, men, girls and boys. Offers information, referral and direct support to any person victimized. Support is also provided during police, medical examinations and legal matters surrounding the crime, advocacy, counseling, and therapy.

(St Joseph Church Outreach - Waipahu) Provides emergency food pantry, canned goods only. Clients to bring their own re-usable bag.

(HCAP STEM) The Ha Initiative: Creative STEM After-School Program is a free Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) after-school program for youth in grades 2-8. The program provides year-round tutoring, mentorship, and fun STEM activities in a safe after-school setting at five STEM Exploration Center locations on Oʻahu.

(Ka Puuwai O Na Keiki, Enhanced Healthy Start, DHS Home Visiting Services) We are a team of Home Visitors that respond to referrals from CWS for Maui County and also FSS and VCM for the island of Maui, and then offer screening for risk factors, assessments, treatment planning and service delivery to reach goals of reunification, parenting skills, support, resources and referrals. Each family referred to our team will be getting visits from a Registered Nurse to identify any developmental challenges and help with health needs. She is also a lactation specialist. They will also receive visits from a Clinical Supervisor for assistance in life with things like addiction, domestic violence and mental health. And each family will be assigned a Family Support Worker who will offer Nurturing Parenting lessons and offering support in an effort to identify and decrease risk factors as well as increasing protective factors. Ka Pu'uwai O Na Keiki never has a waitlist but is specifically referral only for parents and foster parents with a child between the ages of 0 to 3. Accepts collect calls.

(Hui Malama Ola Na Oiwi) We provide disease prevention and health promotion services through advocacy, accessibility, and education. We offer Case Management Services (such as home visits to conduct blood pressure checks, glucose checks, assistance with applications for medical insurance), and referrals to other health-related agencies. We also provide Health Education (Diabetes, Hypertension, Nutrition, and Tobacco Cessation), Traditional Healing Workshops and Classes, as well as one-to-one services by referral. Specialty Transportation provided to medical-related appointments (based on needs and availability)- for individuals restricted to a wheelchair or gurney.

Our mission is to promote, support and expand quality and professionalism in early childhood programs and services for Hawaii's young children (birth - 8 years old) and their families. Advocates for the needs and rights of children from infancy to age eight through a volunteer staff. Acts as a professional organization for educators. Providing training opportunities on best practices in early childhood development and education.

Bridge House Clean and Sober Living provides a residential living opportunity for people in recovery from drug/alcohol abuse. We are a culturally-based program, utilizing Hawaiian health and healing principles. We also have a vocational skills building component, which prepares individuals for entry/re-entry into the work force. We also operate an outpatient substance abuse treatment program at an off-site location that provides assessment and formal treatment.
