(CPS) The Child Welfare Services Section operates a 24-hour child abuse and neglect reporting line. Child Protective Services (CPS) receives all reports of child abuse or neglect, provides case consultation and assessment, and provides crisis intervention on behalf of children in need of immediate protection via police.

Private school includes grades PK-8 for boys and girls.

Offers parenting education classes to help raise responsible, cooperative, and caring children. Classes are designed for parents of children birth - 18 years old.

(MEO) Provides accessible transportation service for the youth, elderly, disabled, and general public of Maui County. Services include non-emergency medical transport, demand response, and specialized service to also include 'fee-for-service" operations.

Family Support Hawai'i provides a comprehensive array of supportive services for prenatal women, infants and toddlers, including those with disabilities, preschool-aged children. Offices are located in Kona and Waimea, with child care centers in Kealakehe High School and Greenwell Child Development Center in Kealakekua. This program provides intensive outpatient treatment for men and women with substance abuse issues. Services include the following: comprehensive screening and assessment, intensive outpatient substance abuse treatment, cognitive behavioral therapy, individual counseling, gender specific groups, family and couples counseling, parenting classes, alcohol and drug education, and case management services.

Provides a place and opportunity for religious expression by those who choose the Salvation Army. Provides character building programs for all ages: Guards and Sunbeams, Adventure Corps (Youth), Home League (Women), Men's Fellowship. Provides assistance to those who are in need of food and clothing. Provides hospital, care home, and shut-in visitation to the institutionalized.

(Transitional Housing Program) Provides housing for victims who need safety and support and are ready to go to school/work. Program participants learn dynamics of domestic violence, develop safety plan, improve self-esteem and learn healthy parenting skills. Children develop safety plans and learn they’re not responsible for domestic violence. Length of stay varies depending on individual needs and up to 24 months at the Transitional Apartments. Transitional Housing Program provides housing for victims who need safety and support and are ready to go to school/work. Client learn dynamics of domestic violence, develop safety plan, improve self-esteem and learn healthy parenting skills. Children develop safety plans and learn they're not responsible for domestic violence. Length of stay varies depending on individual needs.

Provides child care and extended child care for preschool - teen (3-18 years old). Provides before and after school care for children. Offers land and aquatic exercise programs for adults, including Arthritis Aqua Exercise. Offers afterschool, summer and holiday child care programs for school aged children. Offers learn-to-swim programs for children through adults. Youth leadership program for teenagers.

(Hele on Kakoo Paratransit Services) Hawai'i County Mass Transit Agency (MTA) offers Hele-On Kako'o Paratransit services to complement its current Intra-Hilo and Intra-Kona fixed route bus system. It is an advanced reservation, origin to destination service for persons with a disability who are unable to use the regular fixed Hele-On bus service.

(Ho'ola Lahui Hawaii - Lihue, Waimea and Kapaa) Provides medical care; dental care; substance abuse counseling; tobacco cessation; fitness and wellness programs; cancer screening; nutrition counseling; individual, family and couples counseling; case management services; and outreach services.

Provides recreational international folk dancing including regional dances of Bulgaria, Greece, Turkey, Israel, Yugoslavia, and many more. No partners required.

(Al-Anon Molokai, Alanon Family Group Maui, Alateen Maui) Al-Anon is a worldwide fellowship of those who feel their lives have been deeply affected by someone else’s drinking. The only requirement for membership is that there be a problem of alcoholism in a relative or friend. Members, who come from all walks of life, meet to share their experience, strength and hope in order to solve their common problems. Alateen is a recovery program for teenagers whose lives have been affected by someone else's drinking.
