(Ho'omau Ke Ola - HKO) Hoomau Ke Ola operates a culture-based substance abuse treatment center providing outpatient, and aftercare levels of care along with transitional housing, case management services, individual and group counseling, family education, and vocational education. Using cross-cultural perspectives to the healing of addiction, Hoomau Ke Ola clients participate in outdoor activities that include restoration of Hawaiian agricultural land, and service to the community.

The youth may, and often will, continue to receive School-Based Behavioral Health (SBBH) services and supports from the Department of Education (DOE) in conjunction with the intensive mental health services.

St. Francis Preschool is one of the programs housed at the St. Francis Intergenerational Center in Ewa. This creates opportunities for the young and young-at-heart to share in life-learning experiences together. If the federal shutdown continues into November, federal funding for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) program may be unavailable, which could delay or prevent the issuance of November benefits. Provides island residents and businesses with information regarding current recycling programs and programs in development for the island of Oahu, including drop-off recycling centers, recycling for condos and businesses, backyard composting, workshops. Call about the Plastic Bag Ban that became effective on 7/1/15. Accepts green waste and Christmas trees at City facilities or directly at the composting sites.
