The federal Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) provides crucial food and nutritional support to qualifying low-income and needy households, and those making the transition from welfare to self-sufficiency. The SNAP processing center provides public assistance, food stamps (SNAP) and financial assistance, to eligible individuals and families. They handle new applications and ongoing assistance. A paper copy of the application can be downloaded, printed, signed and submitted via US postal mail or dropped off in the drop box. Operation Hero is an afterschool program that targets military children who have been identified by teachers, counselors, or parents as exhibiting low self-esteem, or who have difficulty adjusting, both academically and sociall t the school environment. Oftentimes, these difficulties can be attributed to frequent moves and family disruption due to deployments. The curriculum is designed to help children cope with the challenges of military life, provide tools to help them succeed in school, and assist them in developing a positive self-image while improving communication skills. This program promotes social responsibility through team-building activities and targets children.

(Family Visitation Center - Oahu) Family Visitation Centers provide a safe, neutral setting for children to visit with their non-custodial parents or transition from one parent to the other. After a divorce or separation, family visitation services may be arranged by agreement of both parents and by court order.

HomeAid's Kauhale Management Division provides secure, shared housing at Kipuola Kauahale, light case management, job readiness support, and opportunities for education and community engagement primarily for single individuals.  Additional support for mental health resources and counseling referrals, transportation assistance for work or school, and health and wellness programs for residents may be available. Residents have their own "sleeping pod" but share communal space (toilet, shower, kitchen, computer lab, public areas, etc.).  Residents are required to attend weekly or monthly community meetings, help with shared chores to maintain the common areas, follow site policies for safety, treat others with kindness and respect, and stay engaged with job training, education, or personal development activities.

(Positive Youth Development, OYS) Services youth ages 10 years old to 21 years old who are engaging in or at-risk of engaging in behaviors such as drug use, delinquency, and/or unprotected sex which lead to teen pregnancy. The program focuses on youth who are in crisis, have no basic necessities or no support systems and are approaching adulthood. We address areas of social well-being, knowledge, reasoning and creativity, vocational preparation, and social responsibility. Program activities address the following areas: youth leadership; educational development; community service and service learning; mentoring and intergenerational support; performing/visual arts and humanities; sports, fitness and health; self awareness and interpersonal dynamics; as well as basic money management/budgeting and job readiness. A weekly homeless outreach ministry fundamentally based around food distribution, gospel proclamation, and life transformation. We offer groceries, a hot meal, and haircuts. Occasionally, we also offer showers, and aides signing up for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). During counseling, these women personally select an adoptive family from service files. If needed, offers housing or relocation service. After the adoption, continues to provide counseling throughout the readjustment period.
