(North Shore Food Bank) North Shore Food Bank provides a walk in food distribution at Waialua Community Association (Haleiwa Gym). Additional community services include help with community health servies, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) application help, and other information for person who may be houseless. Maintains a botanical garden with varieties of plants that conserve water. Tour also includes information on water-saving irrigation systems, mulches, and other xeriscape ideas. Group tours are available by appointment only. Honolulu Board of Water Supply and Friends of Halawa Xeriscape Garden offer educational workshops that feature xeriscape plants and gardening techniques that will help to conserve water outdoors. We offer a thriving and robust kupuna (senior) and youth program. We also host additional services for all ages in a safe, intergenerational setting at our multi-purpose family center. KEY programs, both our own and those of others with whom we partner, provide positive alternatives for youth and families from Kaneohe to Kahuku with a focus on prevention, alternative education options, civic engagement. As an excellent meeting site, KEY provides opportunities for community members to participate in and gain control over their lives and the future of their community through active participation in clubs, organizations, halau, forums and community service activities. (SFHV, Strong Families Home Visits) This program provides comprehensive and culturally appropriate professional and paraprofessional home visitation services to families with children ages birth to 3 years old. Program participants are referred by Child Welfare Services, Voluntary Case Management, or Family Strengthening Services programs. Service interventions reduce child abuse and neglect risks, increase family self-sufficiency, address family stressors, and improve child adjustment and achievement. Domestic Violence Services for Families offers a full spectrum of individual, group and family services to men, women and children to aid in the intervention and prevention of domestic violence in families and to strengthen child resilience and overall wellbeing. Service that are available include: -A Comprehensive Basic Assessment including a Trauma Assessment as needed -Risk Assessment -Crisis Management -Safety Planning -Development of a Comprehensive Service Plan -Individual, group and/or family counseling and support for each referred family member -Supervised visitation/exchanges and/or therapeutic visitation -Support Services and outreach which may include but are not limited to case management, resource linkages, domestic violence advocacy, temporary restraining order support, and in-home visits to educated about parenting and life skills

(Food Distribution Outreach) The Parish of Saint Clement provides one recyclable bag of non-perishable groceries per family. Closed the week before Christmas 2025. On #4 and #18 bus lines.

Different unsolved crimes will be publicized in paper or television. Also accepts information on missing persons.

Provides a comprehensive recreational program in the community. Facilities include a multi-purpose building. There are three program periods throughout the year: Fall, spring and summer. Activities are geared for all ages, including classes in arts and crafts, Hawaiiana, games and sports, music, seasonal activities and crafts, and excursions. (Women Infants and Children Nutrition Program) The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC), is a federally funded program which provides Hawaii residents with nourishing supplemental foods, nutrition education, breastfeeding promotion and health and social service referrals. The participants of WIC are either pregnant, breastfeeding, or postpartum women, and infants and children under age five who meet income guidelines and have a medical or nutritional risk. Nutrition and Health Education: WIC will answer your questions about what to eat for a healthy pregnancy and help you plan family meals and snacks. Education and support for moms who breastfeed: WIC has specially trained staff to answer your breastfeeding questions. Ask for more information about our breast pump loan program. Supports children who have been physically or sexually abused, or severely neglected. Funding is provided through foundation grants and private/business donations. The "Enhancements" include such needs as medical, dental, glasses, travel, sports fees, school graduation packages, classes in hula, ukulele, karate, as well as summer school or correspondence school courses, therapy and counseling, air fare so youth can participate in inter-island cultural and sports events, and orthodontia (braces). Also sponsors public education and community awareness activities and materials to help prevent child abuse in the community, as well as inform children and adults how to report or respond to a report of child abuse.

Medicab provides a door to door transportation service for people who need assistance or need to be escorted, usually to a doctor or medical facility. Drivers are trained how to communicate and assist elderly and disabled people. The driver does not lift, carry or push anyone. Drivers do sign out customers from the hospital and assist (guide by hand) people in and out of the vehicle COVID-19 patients are asked to sit at the back seat with their masks on. The driver drives with the windows down for full ventilation.

Perinatal support services provides case management services to women who receive their prenatal care at Waianae Coast Comprehensive Health Center (WCCHC) from the time they enter prenatal care until 3 months postpartum. Perinatal support services also offers prenatal classes to pregnant women and their partners in the Waianae community.

The Community Assistance Center helps families learn self-management skills enabling them to cope with difficult situations without violence. They provide an educational program; not a counseling or therapeutic service.

(PATCH POD Program) The Preschool Open Doors (POD) program provides families with low and moderate incomes subsidies to send their children to preschool for up to two years prior to entering kindergarten.

(CPS) The Child Welfare Services Section operates a 24-hour child abuse and neglect reporting line. Child Protective Services (CPS) receives all reports of child abuse or neglect, provides case consultation and assessment, and provides crisis intervention on behalf of children in need of immediate protection via police.

Parents And Children Together provides a safe, nurturing facility that offers survivors of domestic violence and their children housing for up to 12 months. Services include housing education, childcare referral, and employment counseling.
