Ho'ola Na Pua's Starfish Mentoring Program (SMP) provides mentoring with trauma-informed care and support that addresses the unique needs of survivors of sex trafficking and those at risk. Weekly meetings are activity-based and led by extensively trained mentors aged twenty-one or older. Mentors offer support and advocacy while serving as positive role models to program participants. Referrals to the program can be made through service providers, law enforcement or family members by calling or texting 808.222.1872.
The Starfish Mentoring program does not adhere to strict hours of operation and can be available after hours as well.
Program service are community based, so they happen through the island of O'ahu.

(Aloha Diaper Pantry) The Aloha Diaper Bank supports newborns up to 3 years old who are facing poverty or family crises due to job loss or personal circumstances.
Working in collaboration with various local agencies that serve low-income, homeless, and families in crisis, we provide essential diapers and wipes. Families are encouraged to register with one of the partner agencies to receive ongoing support and access other valuable services during challenging times.
Additionally, the Aloha Diaper Bank offers a one-time emergency assistance package, including 75 diapers and 2 packs of baby wipes, to address immediate needs.

(Women Infants and Children Nutrition Program) The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC), is a federally funded program which provides Hawaii residents with nourishing supplemental foods, nutrition education, breastfeeding promotion and health and social service referrals. The participants of WIC are either pregnant, breastfeeding, or postpartum women, and infants and children under age five who meet income guidelines and have a medical or nutritional risk.
Nutrition and Health Education: WIC will answer your questions about what to eat for a healthy pregnancy and help you plan family meals and snacks.
Education and support for moms who breastfeed: WIC has specially trained staff to answer your breastfeeding questions. Ask for more information about our breast pump loan program.
