Family Hui Hawaii coordinates and provides peer-led parenting support groups for families with young children, age prenatal-5 years old. Families are matched with a group leader in their community based on their child's age and neighborhood. Once a group is formed, families take part in 12 weekly parenting and child development discussions. Group members are able to connect and share their experiences with other families and often develop life-long friendships. Each family receives our Embracing 'Ohana Notebook as a permanent resource. Family Hui offers child development screenings, provides referrals to other agencies, weekly parenting tips on Facebook and current community resources, and invites families to special events and workshops. You may leave a message anytime. Text or contact via Facebook as well - Family Hui Hawaii Families meet where it is convenient for everyone in the group. It may be a public park or a group member's home. Hui groups may meet virtually and/or physically.

Offers rewards of up to $1000 to tipster who give information that leads to arrest or indictment of persons committing crimes or for the recovery of stolen property. All calls are confidential. The federal Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) provides crucial food and nutritional support to qualifying low-income and needy households, and those making the transition from welfare to self-sufficiency. The SNAP processing center provides public assistance, food stamps (SNAP) and financial assistance, to eligible individuals and families. They handle new applications and ongoing assistance. A paper copy of the application can be downloaded, printed, signed and submitted via US postal mail or dropped off in the drop box. (Domestic Violence Advocacy) Families who are enrolled in Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) or Temporary Assistance to Other Needy Families (more commonly known as “welfare”), are required to be engaged in activities that will ultimately lead them to self-sufficiency. Program recipients for whom issues of safety and domestic violence are interfering with their progress can call upon Domestic Violence Advocacy to help them find support to change their situations. Services include: assessment, service planning, counseling services, case management and linkage and referral.

Serves current and former foster youth in Hawai‘i who are transitioning out of the foster care system, into adulthood.
