Men’s Shelter provides emergency shelter and services for up to 140 men per night. The Men’s Shelter has a commercial kitchen, which serves as the hub for our meal program, and a walk-in medical clinic supporting both the community and IHS clients. Washers, dryers, and cleaning products are available onsite for all guests.

(HI-EMA, SCD, State Civil Defense Division) State of Hawaii Department of Defense's Hawaii Emergency Management Agency (HI-EMA) activates public warning and instructions in emergencies. HI-EMA coordinates with county civil defense agencies integrated plans for all hazards, disaster response and recovery. HI-EMA provides community education on hazard awareness, and disaster preparedness, and conducts professional training programs.

Rainbow School Kaneohe has been in operation since 1991. Our school is located on the grounds of Parker United Methodist Church. Rainbow School Kaneohe is able to care for 120 children ranging in age from 2 years to 5 years old. Our program is licensed by the State of Hawaii and also has the distinction of being accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). All staff meet State licensing requirements. We accept DHS – Child Care Connection, Open Door, First-to-Work, Kamehameha Schools’ Keiki Pauahi Scholars Program, and Federal subsidies. All tuition payments are done through the FACTS Tuition Management program. Your child’s Form 14, current TB clearance and DHS 908 Form are required upon acceptance into the school. Parents are also responsible for a non-refundable registration fee of $175 upon acceptance. If there are no availabilities, your child’s application will be placed on the center’s waitlist. (Hele-On Ka Hoʻokele) Hawaii County Economic Opportunity Council's (HCEOC) Transportation Program offers Hawaii Island residents who are elderly, low-income, or disabled access to essential sites such as medical facilities, nutrition sites, shopping centers, banks, post offices, government buildings, and places of employment. Services are based on availability, service areas and road conditions.

(Transitional Housing Program) Provides housing for victims who need safety and support and are ready to go to school/work. Program participants learn dynamics of domestic violence, develop safety plan, improve self-esteem and learn healthy parenting skills. Children develop safety plans and learn they’re not responsible for domestic violence. Length of stay varies depending on individual needs and up to 24 months at the Transitional Apartments. Transitional Housing Program provides housing for victims who need safety and support and are ready to go to school/work. Client learn dynamics of domestic violence, develop safety plan, improve self-esteem and learn healthy parenting skills. Children develop safety plans and learn they're not responsible for domestic violence. Length of stay varies depending on individual needs.

We provide child growth and development information and positive parenting education to families. Offering home visitation services to eligible families, screening, emotional support to parents and linkage to other needed community services.

Reopening September 1, 2022, the Honolulu Museum of Art School offers courses in ceramics, printmaking, metalsmithing, textiles, drawing and painting, and a General Survey Art Exploration class. Curriculum is designed for a wide range of abilities, experiences, and expertise. Fall 2022 registration opens online and in-person on Wednesday July 13, 2022 at 10am. Contributing members and above can register one day early.

Provides a variety of social, recreational and educational programs for all age groups, children to seniors that includes social recreational, physical activities, after school drop-in programs, performing arts, behavioral management, sports and educational program that includes positive youth development. Summer program includes the Summer Enrichment Program.

(TANF, TAONF) The federal Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) Program provides temporary cash assistance to eligible families. The monthly cash assistance given to families may be used to pay for food, clothing, housing and utility expenses, and other daily needs. Eligible families include at least one specified relative adult and a minor dependent child who resides in the same home. In addition, family members must be US citizens. The State of Hawaii Temporary Assistance for Other Needy Families (TAONF) Program provides the same benefits and services to Hawaii’s vulnerable families with children as the TANF program. The TAONF program eligibility includes mixed citizens and non-citizens, and single- and two-parent households.
