Women in Need provides services to men and women 18 years old or older. Services include substance abuse assessments, intensive outpatient treatment, outpatient treatment, aftercare and individual counseling.

(Community Services) Church of Seventh-Day Adventist distributes food to the needy. Some toiletries (soap, tooth brushes, tooth paste, diapers, and items that are donated ) a provided when they are available. Church of Seventh-Day Adventist accepts donated personal grooming supplies.

(CFS Gerontology Program - Ohana Care) Caregivers who provide the primary care to individuals who are disabled, frail, and/or isolated residents on Oahu, who are 60 years of age or older, on an as needed basis are eligible for case management, counseling, and training services. Training topics may include: ADL/ADL limitations, caregiver’s role, disease prevention and remediation, access to available resources, stages of disease and options/ referrals in legal or financial related matters, RCI-REACH, and Arthritis Foundation related training. Staff will also provide information and referral sources when needed. Designed to improve the quality of life for families, care receivers, and caregivers by offering a continuum of quality care that is flexible and individualized in order to prolong the care giving relationship. The program actively assists the care receiver and the caregiver in implementing an individualized, strengths based service plan on how to reduce stress and link with the appropriate community resources. The program also provides supportive counseling.

(SNAP Outreach, Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program Outreach, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) Outreach) The federal Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) provides crucial food and nutritional support to qualifying low-income and needy households, and those making the transition from welfare to self-sufficiency. Hawaii Foodbank Oahu’s SNAP outreach program helps with completing SNAP applications over the phone. In-person assistance is available by appointment only.

Rainbow School Kaneohe has been in operation since 1991. Our school is located on the grounds of Parker United Methodist Church. Rainbow School Kaneohe is able to care for 120 children ranging in age from 2 years to 5 years old. Our program is licensed by the State of Hawaii and also has the distinction of being accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). All staff meet State licensing requirements. We accept DHS – Child Care Connection, Open Door, First-to-Work, Kamehameha Schools’ Keiki Pauahi Scholars Program, and Federal subsidies. All tuition payments are done through the FACTS Tuition Management program. Your child’s Form 14, current TB clearance and DHS 908 Form are required upon acceptance into the school. Parents are also responsible for a non-refundable registration fee of $175 upon acceptance. If there are no availabilities, your child’s application will be placed on the center’s waitlist. Please contact the Center Director directly to set up a visit.

Provides confidential prenatal support for women and teens. Offers the only on-island obstetrical care to Molokai women. Organizes free childbirth classes. Offers prenatal education, nutritional guidance. Coordinates counseling, social services and postpartum home visits. Assists client in applying for medical insurance. Offers birth control, STD testing (including HIV), STD treatment, pregnancy tests, non childbearing GYN exams and other medical services.

(American Cancer Society Cancer Survivors Network, American Cancer Society I Can Cope Class, American Cancer Society Look Good Feel Better, American Cancer Society Look Good/Feel Better, American Cancer Society Reach to Recovery) Reach To Recovery: Trained volunteers who are breast cancer survivors provide emotional and educational support for women who are facing or have had breast cancer surgery. Cancer Survivors Network: Online community created for survivors and caregivers to connect with others, visit www.cancer.org Gift Items: A limited supply of wigs, hats, turbans, scarves and breast prostheses are available by appointment. These items are received by the local offices by donations from others and through our TLC Catalog. Support Groups: The office is a clearinghouse of information on local self-help and support groups that provide emotional and educational help. Patients and caregivers also are invited to visit the Cancer Survivors' Network at www.cancer.org . Relay For Life: You are invited to attend Relay For Life, our annual event to celebrate survivors, remember loved ones, and give everyone the opportunity to fight back against cancer. We encourage all survivors to attend this fun, uplifting event.

Parents And Children Together (PACT) offers safe, compassionate, and confidential support in three counties for youth and families coping with serious behavioral, social, and emotional challenges. Our evidence-based therapeutic models focus on family networks and relationships, school or job performance, peer connections and relationships, and community networks of support. All services are provided free of charge with referrals. Evenings and weekends by appointment.

Parent Participation Preschool is a three-phased program for parents to assist in their child's transition from home to school. The children progress through the program based on their development and mastered skills, not age. -Pueo (Phase 1): Children are introduced to a more structured learning environment. It focuses on colors, shapes and letter recognition. The class meets twice a week for 2 hours. It requires parents' 100% participation. -Honu (Phase 2): Children entering Honu have some basic, fundamental preschool abilities and are inspired to work independently, explore academics, use their creativity, and learn the importance of a daily routine. Honu focuses on phonics, basic math skills and writing. The class meets three times a week for 3 hours. It requires parents to remain on site on his/her child's line leader day. -Nai'a (Phase 3): Children develop the skills needed in language arts, mathematics, science, and problem solving. (Hawaii Relief Program) Catholic Charities Hawaii has been contracted to administer the Hawaii Relief Program. Eligible applicants may receive up to four months of financial assistance, including: -Up to 4 months of rent or mortgage (up to $6,000 per month) -One time security deposit (actual housing deposit amount up to the maximum of $6,000) -Up to 4 months of utility assistance ($2,000 per month per utility source) -One time Utility deposit (up to $3,000 per utility source). -One-time automobile down payment -Up to 4 months of automobile payments Utility payments may include electricity, gas, or water expense, or a combination of these utility sources. Water expense may include sewer service fees. Payments are made directly to landlords, mortgage lenders, or utility providers. (Food Pantry) Saint Theresa Catholic Church provides food pantry outreach for those who are low income or in need of food on the 4th Thursday per month 8:30 am - 10:00 am. During the holidays, the pantry will be available only on the 3rd Thursday of November and December 8:30 am - 10:00 am.

Provides pre-hospital emergency medical and ambulance services at the Advanced Life Support Level to all residents and visitors on Molokai. Transports patient to airport when needed. Offers blood pressure testing, speakers bureau, ambulance demonstrations and standby service for special events.

Reporting missing persons.

Provides emergency food boxes to those that are in need.

(Friends of the Childrens Justice Center - Maui) Provides a safe, neutral place for child abuse investigations by trained Police Detectives and Department of Human Services Social Workers who are specialists in child abuse. Provides training for professionals in conducting effective multidisciplinary investigations that are child-focused. Tracks all reports of child sex abuse. Facilitates coordination of civil and criminal multidisciplinary meetings.

Offers three "Learn to Swim" programs a year (Red Cross approved). Registration before program begins. Summer program starts around June, Fall program starts around September, Spring program starts around January. Also open to public for free swimming.

Transitional Family Care for youth 5 - 17 years of age with emotional and/or behavioral disturbances, Hale Kipa's Therapeutic Foster Care Program provides community-based services within a family home setting. The 3-9 month program is often a "step-down" from hospitalization or a residential setting and can be helpful in transitioning youth from a higher level of care to successful integration into the community.
