(Neighborhood Development and Community Outreach Program (former name)) Community Services program offers an array of services to individuals and families in need. Provides food pantry on-site to those in need of food. Provides hygiene pantry for the homebound seniors. School supplies program is collaborative effort with Helping Hands Hawaii. We accept school supplies donations and help distribute them as well.

Makaha Community Center is partnering with Waianae Assembly of God for the distribution of food, clothing, furniture, appliances, and household items. We also support local Department of Education school incentive programs in the Nanakuli-Waianae complex to help promote academics and attendance.

Operates a Food Pantry distribution service usually 4th Monday of each month, please call ahead. Also offers distribution of household goods and clothing. Accepts donations of small household items and clothing, please call.

(Food Pantry) Dynamic Compassion in Action distributes food boxes to persons in need and persons with low-income. Clothing and household goods are distributed at the same site and during same food pantry hours. Volunteers are accepted, but please call first. We accept donations of clean and gently used small household items and clothing. The food distribution is normally a drive through. For persons who walk in please bring a bag, box or wagon. This is an Ohana Produce Plus Distribution and Senior Food Box Program, Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP), a one a month, federal program helping low-income kupuna.

The Community Clearinghouse operates a warehouse of free necessities, such as food, clothing, furniture and basic household items. The Community Clearinghouse receives donations of furniture, household items and clothing from the public and distributes these items to low-income and homeless individuals for free. To receive assistance, an individual or family must be referred directly to the Community Clearinghouse by a social worker or case manager from an eligible community partner agency/entity. If you do not have an agency to refer you, call us at (808) 536-7234 ext. 800. A one-time, emergency walk-in service is available, and Community Clearinghouse staff will work to link consumers with a partner agency for continued assistance/access. The Community Clearinghouse does not accept donations of car seats, strollers, medical equipment, exercise equipment, pianos/musical equipment, computers/laptops, or items that are in disrepair and are no longer in usable condition. Items are given to consumers as-is so they must be in gently used, working condition. Clothing donations are not being accepted at this time.
