(BHOF) Provides a variety of educational programs and services to patients, their families and health professionals, including: written information on the prevention, detection, and treatment of osteoporosis; a website that is regularly updated with the latest information on bone health and osteoporosis; a patient information service; professional educational materials; and assistance in establishing and maintaining support groups. Works to increase public awareness of osteoporosis through prevention programs and campaigns, public policy forums and grassroots efforts.

Provides resource and referral information about cancer. Provides services and their families. Emphasizes prevention through healthy lifestyles to reduce cancer risk. Promotes early detection. Offers referral and assistance for transportation to medical treatment.

Provides case management, counseling, hospital visitation, and support programs. Provides food pantry to clients only. Offers support groups. Conducts outreach to youth, women and high risk populations in the community and work place. Advocates for progressive public policy and effective service systems. Provides free Hepatitis C testing, free HIV testing and free Syphilis testing.
