Men’s Shelter provides emergency shelter and services for up to 140 men per night. The Men’s Shelter has a commercial kitchen, which serves as the hub for our meal program, and a walk-in medical clinic supporting both the community and IHS clients. Washers, dryers, and cleaning products are available onsite for all guests.

(MIECHV) Partnering with ‘Ohana from pregnancy until kindergarten. ‘Ohana receive weekly home visits where they have the opportunity to grow in positive parenting practices, learn about their child’s development, and build a loving relationship between parent and child. Our Parent Educators provide the Parents as Teachers (PAT) and Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters (HIPPY) programs as a part of the your ‘Ohana Network of the state of Hawai’i. Family Hui Hawaii coordinates and provides peer-led parenting support groups for families with young children, age prenatal-5 years old. Families are matched with a group leader in their community based on their child's age and neighborhood. Once a group is formed, families take part in 12 weekly parenting and child development discussions. Group members are able to connect and share their experiences with other families and often develop life-long friendships. Each family receives our Embracing 'Ohana Notebook as a permanent resource. Family Hui offers child development screenings, provides referrals to other agencies, weekly parenting tips on Facebook and current community resources, and invites families to special events and workshops. You may leave a message anytime. Text or contact via Facebook as well - Family Hui Hawaii Families meet where it is convenient for everyone in the group. It may be a public park or a group member's home. Hui groups may meet virtually and/or physically.

Provides weekly Tutu Support Group that includes counseling, advocacy, information and referral, education and training. Program is for grandparents who are raising or caring for their grandchildren. Agency also umbrellas an outrigger canoe paddling program for youth 10 years and up, and adults. Oldest adult paddling with program is 83 years old.

It is an advanced reservation, origin to destination service for persons with a disability who are unable to use the regular fixed Hele-On bus service.

Developing Options to Violence (DOV) offers a full spectrum of services to women, men, adolescents, and children in the intervention and prevention of domestic violence. Professional counselors on call to help youth who are in psychiatric crisis or to supplement the efforts of their caregivers. • Domestic violence interventions services for individuals who use physical, emotional, psychological and/ or sexual abuse in intimate relationships.
• Support groups for individuals who are experience emotional, psychological and/or sexual abuse in intimate relationships.
• Violence Control groups for individuals who have use violence towards other family members (parents, siblings)

Adolescent Program: To assist adolescents in understanding their behavior and how to make appropriate changes. Children's Group: To help children who have witnessed domestic violence understand it and deal with their feelings about it. Parents are required to participate in support group while children receive services.

(TANF, TAONF) The federal Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) Program provides temporary cash assistance to eligible families. The monthly cash assistance given to families may be used to pay for food, clothing, housing and utility expenses, and other daily needs. Eligible families include at least one specified relative adult and a minor dependent child who resides in the same home. In addition, family members must be US citizens. The State of Hawaii Temporary Assistance for Other Needy Families (TAONF) Program provides the same benefits and services to Hawaii’s vulnerable families with children as the TANF program. The TAONF program eligibility includes mixed citizens and non-citizens, and single- and two-parent households. HomeAid's Kauhale Management Division provides secure, shared housing at Kipuola Kauahale, light case management, job readiness support, and opportunities for education and community engagement primarily for single individuals.  Additional support for mental health resources and counseling referrals, transportation assistance for work or school, and health and wellness programs for residents may be available. Residents have their own "sleeping pod" but share communal space (toilet, shower, kitchen, computer lab, public areas, etc.).  Residents are required to attend weekly or monthly community meetings, help with shared chores to maintain the common areas, follow site policies for safety, treat others with kindness and respect, and stay engaged with job training, education, or personal development activities.

Provides after school A+ program at several elementary schools. Offers swimming lessons and other classes. Conducts fitness programs, aerobics, intersession and summer fun program.

The Parent Line is coordinating assistance for families who need to replace critical items, including: Car seats, breast pumps, cribs, and other essential baby supplies. Families whose essential baby items were lost or damaged during Hurricanes Lala and Lowell are encouraged to request assistance as soon as possible so support can be coordinated. To ensure comprehensive statewide outreach, these relief efforts are being coordinated through The Parent Line, which is funded by the Hawaii Department of Health and administered by Healthy Mothers Healthy Babies.

An ongoing support group for family members who have experienced a loss in their lives. The group offers the public a chance to explore and exchange experiences in coping with loss, facilitate communications, methods of communicating the memories of loved ones, and more.

Coalition for a Drug-Free Hawaii is dedicated to serving Hawaii’s children, families, and communities with aloha and programs that strengthen health, wellness, and resilience against substance misuse through awareness, education, and action. Programs include: after-school/in-school evidence-based programs for youth; youth leadership development; family strengthening workshops; youth and family counseling services; training and capacity building with communities; the Hawaii Prevention & Treatment Resource Center which offers substance use prevention, treatment, and related educational materials and resources to the general public; the Hawaii Pacific Center for Excellence providing training for the workforce in the field of substance abuse prevention, treatment, health, and wellness; and TeenLink Hawaii, a teen resource for information on critical health and social issues impacting youth.

Provides a comprehensive recreational program in the community. Facilities include a multi-purpose building, a gymnasium, a swimming pool, tennis courts and outdoor basketball and volleyball courts, and a field. There are three program periods throughout the year: Fall, spring, and summer. Activities are geared for all ages, including classes in arts and crafts, Hawaiiana, games and sports, music and dance, seasonal activities and crafts, excursions and swimming.
