Helping Hands Hawaii's Community Clearinghouse operates a warehouse providing free essential items to persons and families with low-income, people experiencing houselessness, and disaster survivors. Available items may include furniture, basic household goods, hygiene items, food, and clothing. Individuals and families may request assistance online at https://www.bit.ly/hhhassistance Emergency walk‑in assistance is available for clothing, hygiene, and food on Monday 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm. Interpreter services available on request. School supplies are available year-round, while supplies last.

(Immigration Office - County of Hawaii) Provides immigration information and assistance on immigration related issues and concerns to the constituents of Hawai‘i County, (including citizenship, permanent residency and family based petition), disseminates immigration forms, acts as a resource office, and serves as a liaison to the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS formerly INS).

(Ho'oulu 'Aina and Returning to our Roots) Hooulu Aina (the Kalihi Valley Nature Preserve) strives to be a "welcoming place of refuge for people of all cultures." Kokua Kalihi Valley (KKV) sees the aina (land) as a vital member of the community, and so we are pleased to offer opportunities for community gardening, reforestation, environmental education and the preservation of land-based cultural knowledge. PIDF has partnered with Family Programs Hawaii (FPH), and a consortium of other community providers to form Hui Ho'omalu (A Group to Protect and Shelter), all working together to advance Hawaii’s foster care system. Recruits and certifies adoptive parent(s) for children needing an adoptive family. Recruits adoptive families for children who are a ward of the state. Provides adoption services for foster children.

(Aloha Diaper Pantry) The Aloha Diaper Bank supports newborns up to 3 years old who are facing poverty or family crises due to job loss or personal circumstances. Working in collaboration with various local agencies that serve low-income, homeless, and families in crisis, we provide essential diapers and wipes. Families are encouraged to register with one of the partner agencies to receive ongoing support and access other valuable services during challenging times. Additionally, the Aloha Diaper Bank offers a one-time emergency assistance package, including 75 diapers and 2 packs of baby wipes, to address immediate needs. If you are an individual in need of diapers, our partner agency Keiki O Ka Aina can help to sign you up to receive diapers and provide you guidance with parenting services and classes. Provides transportation assistance for patients with cancer. Road to Recovery program - volunteers drive patients to doctor appointments and medical treatments. Bus Passes and Handi-Van Coupons - availability is limited to those in active treatment. Taxicab - limited trips for those that are unable to access volunteers, bus or handi-van. Air Fare interisland and mainland - for patients not covered by other insurance coverage. Reduced rate lodging - at hotels in Hawaii for patients who must travel for treatment. Hope lodge - free overnight housing for patients traveling to the mainland for treatment.

Provides HIV testing, STD testing, hepatitis testing and vaccinations. Provides condoms.

Increases public awareness of the measures that can be taken to protect homes, businesses and property from the threat of fire. Includes information on faulty wiring and other electrical hazards, kitchen fires, smoking risks, child-related fire safety, flammable materials storage, brush clearance, fire retardant building materials and ground cover and other similar topics. Provides fire education and code enforcement. Issues special fireworks and public firework display permit. Also issues tent permits, portable extinguishers and systems permits, flammable finish permits, public assembly permits, and tank permits. Fireworks permits may be obtained from all Satellite City Halls for these holidays: New Year’s, Chinese New Year, and Independence Day (Fourth of July). For fireworks permits other than on the holidays listed, go to the Honolulu Fire Department Fire Prevention Bureau. Fireworks permits will not be issued at any fire station.

Activities are geared for all ages, including classes in arts and crafts, Hawaiiana, games and sports, music, seasonal activities and crafts, and excursions. KHP is a non-profit substance misuse treatment and recovery support Center with a focus on Native Hawaiian cultural values. Provides Outpatient treatment and support services for Molokai residents in early recovery from alcohol and other drug addictions. Also provides 12-step meetings and faith-based recovery support meetings. Provides urine analysis (UA) Testing for youth up to age 18 and adults. Able to provide alcohol and other drugs (AOD) assessments for driving under the influence (DUI) or treatment appropriateness for a fee. KHP has programs for Pregnant and/or parenting Women with children who want to engage in outpatient treatment. Also, persons with a co-occurring mental health diagnosis and a substance use disorder can join dual diagnosis treatment groups. KHP has an emergency food pantry open on Tue and Thurs after 12:30pm. Assistance to send a participant to residential treatment off island (if funds permit) Ka Hale Pomaika’i offers their office as a Recovery Community Center serving as a forum for support such as 12-step meetings, Ohana gatherings and learning circles with Kupuna. All services that KHP offers are conducted with a focus on Native Hawaiian traditions and values.

(Alanon Family Group West Hawaii, Alateen West Hawaii) Al-Anon is a worldwide fellowship of those who feel their lives have been deeply affected by someone else’s drinking. The only requirement for membership is that there be a problem of alcoholism in a relative or friend. Members, who come from all walks of life, meet to share their experience, strength and hope in order to solve their common problems. Alateen is a recovery program for teenagers whose lives have been affected by someone else's drinking. Ohana Makamae offers Domestic Violence Intervention through our Batterer's Intervention Program (BIP).  This service is for individuals who are perpetrators of domestic violence.  Our aim is to help clients achieve and maintain healthy lifestyles that promote growth, balance and wellness; and to provide a safe place where they can gain understanding and knowledge into their behaviors.  Through our  Batterer's Intervention Program our clients can meet their obligations to the courts and become empowered to make right choices.Our BIP program utilizes the “Alternate Behavior Choices” (ABC) curriculum; a research-based domestic violence curriculum by John Hamel, PhD, LCSW. The Alternate Behavior Choices curriculum is appropriate for both voluntary and court-mandated individuals, and exceeds the legal requirements for batterer intervention programs in Hawaii.
