Rainbow Mililani opened in 1987. We are located in the heart of Mililani Town on the grounds of the Christ Lutheran Church , although we are not affiliated with any religious denomination. Our program is licensed by the State of Hawaii. We offer services to 60 children ranging in age from 3 to 5 years old. Licensed by the State of Hawaii Department of Human Service and nationally accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). All staff meet State licensing requirements. We accept DHS – Child Care Connection, Open Door, First-to-Work, Kamehameha Schools’ Keiki Pauahi Scholars Program, and Federal subsidies. All tuition payments are done through the FACTS Tuition Management program. Your child’s Form 14, current TB clearance and DHS 908 Form are required upon acceptance into the school. Parents are also responsible for a non-refundable registration fee of $175 upon acceptance. If there are no availabilities, your child’s application will be placed on the center’s waitlist. (Transitional Housing Program) Provides housing for victims who need safety and support and are ready to go to school/work. Program participants learn dynamics of domestic violence, develop safety plan, improve self-esteem and learn healthy parenting skills. Children develop safety plans and learn they’re not responsible for domestic violence. Length of stay varies depending on individual needs and up to 24 months at the Transitional Apartments. Services offered to men and women over the age of 18. Services include substance abuse assessments, intensive outpatient treatment, outpatent treatment, aftercare and individual counseling.

Mission: To restore meaningful, healthy lives for individuals and families coping with substance abuse. CARF accredited programs provide outpatient medication assisted and drug free treatment: methadone maintenance, suboxone (buprenorphine) and detox program, outreach, and interim services for persons addicted to opiates, pain killers, and illicit opiates in on Oahu and Hilo on Hawaii Island. In Puna on Hawaii Island, Native Hawaiian culturally based intensive outpatient and outpatient program provided. Cornerstone, located in Honolulu, provides outpatient, intensive outpatient and continuing care services. Trauma-Informed-Care environment.

Army Community Service's Victim Advocacy Program provides a Domestic Violence Victim Advocacy safe line for active duty army service members and their family members.

(Homeless Shelter) Shelter facilities provide guests with hot showers, daily meals (3 meals a day), storage lockers, mail service, and access to services that include case management, healthcare, employment, and housing assistance.

Playmorning (Nene) promotes social skills, creativity, literacy and fine and large motor skills for children, twice a week, Mondays and Wednesdays from 9:30 am - 11:30 am only.

Offers and provides a comprehensive program of educational, health, and social services to income or categorically-eligible children and families in order to promote school readiness. -Early Head Start - provides prenatal support services to expectant mothers and their families, as well as educational services for children zero to three years of age through islandwide home-based home visiting. -Head Start - provides preschool educational services to children three to five years-old through center and home-based options islandwide. Parents are the key to success in Head Start and Early Head Start. As members of the Parent Committees and Head Start Policy Council, parents help decide how the program is operated. Parents are invited to volunteer in all phases of the Head Start program at any time.

Advises, explains procedures, and orients victims/witnesses to criminal justice system. Accompanies client to court. Provides information on cases. Promotes public awareness of victim/witness concerns. Assists victims with restitution, compensation and referral to community agencies if applicable.

Assisting in helping those interested in running a child care business to becoming licensed by the State of Hawaii. Providing guidance regarding setting up a child care business. Providing free training on child development, nutrition, health and safety issues. Providing information about resources available to providers, such as the USDA Child Care Food Program that assists in paying for meals served in daycare. Referring parents who are looking for child care to licensed child care providers. Maintaining connections with child care providers, professional child care associations, and other child care professionals as well as helping others build those relationships in the community. Counseling services, (individual, family); group services, and limited financial assistance. With partners, through it's community building efforts, QLCC works toward the development of: healthy children, strong positive family attachment, stable home environment and caring communities.

Provides education and information about substance abuse, evaluation of substance abuse problems and referral to appropriate help. Operates a lawyer Alcoholics Anonymous support group with lawyer sponsors. Provides intervention services for attorneys or judges who are impaired either by substance abuse or have other problems such as mental illness. Confidential service with no records going to authorities of any kind, even within the legal community.

A Cup of Cold Water is an outreach care van ministry of the Episcopal Churches on Maui and Community Friends delivering basic needs of water, nutrition, clothing and comfort to the neediest of Maui's people. Weekly runs are made to the homeless in Central, West and South Maui on days and times when they are not serviced by others. A Cup of Cold Water Care is an all volunteer outreach and all donations go directly to meeting the basic needs (plus a lot of comfort) of the homeless clients served. A Cup of Cold Water does not help with housing.

Provides required education to qualify for a hunting license. Administers written exam. Course includes firearms safety, first aid, survival rules, conservation and wildlife identification.

Parents And Children Together (PACT) offers safe, compassionate, and confidential support in three counties for youth and families coping with serious behavioral, social and emotional challenges. Our evidence-based therapeutic models focus on family networks and relationships, school or job performance, peer connections and relationships, and community networks of support. All services are provided free of charge with referrals.

Provides part-time volunteer work with stipend for low income senior citizens to work with special or exceptional needs persons at institutions, schools, day care centers, etc. Duties may involve reading, literacy activities, tutoring. Volunteers receive a stipend.

Provides a variety of social, recreational and educational programs for all age groups, children to seniors that includes social recreational, physical activities, after school drop-in programs, performing arts, behavioral management, sports and educational program that includes positive youth development. (Emergency and Transitional Housing Programs) HOPE emergency shelter programs provide shelter for families and individuals that are homeless or at imminent risk of becoming homeless. Services include intake/assessment, case management, referrals/linkages to community resources, access to bed space, storage, meals, laundry, food pantry and clothing bank. On-site life skills classes also provided. Referrals by County's Coordinated Entry System (CES) only.

(Hawaii Relief Program) Catholic Charities Hawaii has been contracted to administer the Hawaii Relief Program. Eligible applicants may receive up to four months of financial assistance, including: -Up to 4 months of rent or mortgage (up to $6,000 per month) -One time security deposit (actual housing deposit amount up to the maximum of $6,000) -Up to 4 months of utility assistance ($2,000 per month per utility source) -One time Utility deposit (up to $3,000 per utility source). Utility payments may include electricity, gas, or water expense, or a combination of these utility sources. Water expense may include sewer service fees. Payments are made directly to landlords, mortgage lenders, or utility providers. Youth identified as requiring intensive mental health services may be enrolled with the Department of Health (DOH) Family Guidance Center (FGC) located in the school district of their home school. They are assigned an FGC Mental Health Care Coordinator (MHCC) at that time. The youth may, and often will, continue to receive School-Based Behavioral Health (SBBH) services and supports from the Department of Education (DOE) in conjunction with the intensive mental health services.

(LITFP SSI) The Low Income Transit Fare Program (LITFP) provides a discounted transit fare for income qualifying individuals. For persons receiving Supplemental Security Income (SSI) no application necessary. Bring the following documents to the Transit Pass Office at the Kalihi Transit Center: -Supplemental Security Income Benefit Verification Letter from the Social Security Administration. -Official, valid photo identification (ID) such as a Passport, Driver's License, Driver's Permit, State ID, Birth Certificate for individuals 17 years of age or younger.

Provides case management for youth in long term foster care, guardianship, transition, post high school education and post adoption. Provides financial assistance for educational and self esteem building activities for children in foster care. Training and toll free Warm Line support and resources for foster, guardianship, kinship and adoptive parents. Hosts a Holiday Party for former foster children and foster families.

(SNAP Outreach, Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program Outreach, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) Outreach) The federal Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) provides crucial food and nutritional support to qualifying low-income and needy households, and those making the transition from welfare to self-sufficiency. Food Basket Hawaii Island's Food Bank’s SNAP outreach program helps with completing SNAP applications.
