The Winter Fun Program will run from December 26, 2023 - January 5, 2024; no program on January 1, 2024. (MEO) Provides accessible transportation service for the youth, elderly, disabled, and general public of Maui County. Services include non-emergency medical transport, demand response, and specialized service to also include 'fee-for-service" operations.

Provides a comprehensive recreational program in the community. There are three program periods throughout the year: Fall, spring and summer. Activities are geared for all ages, including classes in arts and crafts, Hawaiiana, games and sports, music, seasonal activities and crafts, and excursions. A list of activities, registration dates, and program period information is published in the Midweek prior to registration.

Distributes information on cancer's "seven warning signs" and emphasizes prevention through healthy lifestyles to reduce cancer risk. Promotes early detection to increase survival rates through regular physical examinations. Loans equipment (hospital beds, wheelchairs, commodes, etc.). Through volunteers, provides transportation to medical treatment. Also offers support group meetings and stop smoking programs, cab vouchers.

Our Helpline is staffed by caring professionals who understand the unique challenges faced by today's military and veteran families. This free service offers information, creates connections and gives hope to stuggling families, wherever they are. It can also serve as a future resident's first step to moving to the National Home.

(FSSEAP) The program provides case management, educational advancement support for parents with children.

Educates service members veterans and their families to cope with mental health and addiction issues. Administered by veterans who themselves have been consumers of VA mental-health services. Vet 2 Vet provides a 6 week, peer-facilitator training program. Hawaii Vet 2 Vet Inc assists service members veterans and their families to get the services that they are entitled to from the Veterans Health and Benefits Administration (aka VHA and VBA).

(Food Pantry Plus) This program provides emergency food and diaper assistance for the community. Hours of operation are subject to change without notice. Please call to confirm operation hours. Parents are required to bring a picture ID and each child's birth certificate (one time verification). Families are allowed to receive diapers once a month, per child, ages from infant to 3 years old. Please call to confirm operation hours and the availability of diapers.

(Opala, Plastic Bag Ban) Develops and administers City and County recycling programs. Provides island residents and businesses with information regarding current recycling programs and programs in development for the island of Oahu, including drop-off recycling centers, recycling for condos and businesses, backyard composting, workshops. Call about the Plastic Bag Ban that became effective on 7/1/15. Accepts green waste and Christmas trees at City facilities or directly at the composting sites.

Molokai Baptist Church is an independent Baptist Church. We have an emergency food pantry and limited supply of clothing. We have a variety of fellowship opportunities which include Women's Bible Study, Men's Bible Study, Youth Bible Study, Awana, Young Life, Summer Vacation Bible School, Summer Youth Camp.

(TANF, TAONF) The federal Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) Program provides temporary cash assistance to eligible families. The monthly cash assistance given to families may be used to pay for food, clothing, housing and utility expenses, and other daily needs. Eligible families include at least one specified relative adult and a minor dependent child who resides in the same home. In addition, family members must be US citizens. The State of Hawaii Temporary Assistance for Other Needy Families (TAONF) Program provides the same benefits and services to Hawaii’s vulnerable families with children as the TANF program. The TAONF program eligibility includes mixed citizens and non-citizens, and single- and two-parent households. HUGS visits children with a life-threatening illness and their families while hospitalized for treatment. Interactive play with hospitalized child and/or siblings to relieve stress of hospitalization.
