Miracle Flights provides free airline tickets to families in need of specialized, distant medical care and/or second opinions. Flight support is provided to children and adult patients at no cost to the family, as many times as necessary. Flight programs include domestic and international travel to U.S. treatment facilities and to train/retrieve service dogs.

Provides free and confidential individual tutorial services by volunteers. Offers tutoring in basic skills such as reading, writing and math. Assists client in preparing for various testing including GED. Helps with resume preparation.

Common Grace facilitates partnerships between public elementary schools and nearby neighborhood churches in order to provide mentors for at-risk children. Volunteers goes through our basic training seminar that we have through out the school year. We look for mentors that have willing and loving hearts ready to be a friend to the kids at the local elementary school.

Camp Imua has been a place where children ages 6 years old - 16 years old with a range of special needs or disabilities can enjoy a week of recreational experiences allowing them to be themselves in a supportive and inclusive environment free from judgment. Campers participate and enjoy a range of activities like horseback riding, swimming, surfing, kayaking, hiking, arts and crafts, music, dance, tumbling, and ice cream social, a glow party, concerts, a talent show, outdoor movies, helicopter tours, zip-lining, climbing and much more!

(Women Infants and Children Nutrition Program) The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC), is a federally funded program which provides Hawaii residents with nourishing supplemental foods, nutrition education, breastfeeding promotion and health and social service referrals. The participants of WIC are either pregnant, breastfeeding, or postpartum women, and infants and children under age five who meet income guidelines and have a medical or nutritional risk. Nutrition and Health Education: WIC will answer your questions about what to eat for a healthy pregnancy and help you plan family meals and snacks. Aloha Church Assembly of God provides a food pantry and food distribution to those in need.

Provides part-time volunteer work with stipend for low income senior citizens to work with special or exceptional needs persons at institutions, schools, day care centers, etc. Duties may involve reading, literacy activities, tutoring. Volunteers receive a stipend.

(Ho'olanani) Provides overnight shelter includes shower, meal, bed, clothing, referral to social services.

Early Intervention Services are for children from birth to age three who have developmental concerns and focuses on improving the physical, cognitive, communicative, adaptive, social and emotional development of the child. As parents are the child’s first teachers, services are provided through one primary early intervention professional using parent coaching strategies. In addition, the program helps families by providing information, demonstrations and support to caregivers that helps them better understand their children’s developmental needs and how to meet them. Care coordination is available to help families utilize resources at home and in the community. Support Plans are developed in partnership with the family and service team that build on strengths and priorities of the family. Youth identified as requiring intensive mental health services may be enrolled with the Department of Health (DOH) Family Guidance Center (FGC) located in the school district of their home school. They are assigned an FGC Mental Health Care Coordinator (MHCC) at that time. The youth may, and often will, continue to receive School-Based Behavioral Health (SBBH) services and supports from the Department of Education (DOE) in conjunction with the intensive mental health services.

Offers outpatient services for adults and adolescents with mental health diagnosis. Includes psychological assessment, psychiatric evaluation, medication monitoring, case management, intensive in-school services, family and individual psychotherapy services.

(CSFP, Senior Food Box) The Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) is a federally funded USDA program that helps eligible older adults access nutritious foods by providing a monthly Senior Food Box filled with a variety of shelf-stable USDA items designed to supplement their diets.

Parents And Children Together (PACT) offers safe, compassionate, and confidential support in three counties for youth and families coping with serious behavioral, social, and emotional challenges. Our evidence-based therapeutic models focus on family networks and relationships, school or job performance, peer connections and relationships, and community networks of support. All services are provided free of charge with referrals. Evenings and weekends by appointment.
